About
Under the Snapper-Grouper Fishery Management Plan, the South Atlantic Fishery Management Council manages 55 species of fishes. Management is designed to support the sustainable use of snapper-grouper resources.
Species managed include snappers, groupers, porgys, triggerfish, jacks, tilefishes, grunts, spadefishes, wrasses, and sea basses.
