Summary

Fishery managers implemented regulations through Amendment 41 to the Fishery Management Plan (FMP) for the Snapper Grouper Fishery of the South Atlantic Region (Amendment 41). Measures for Amendment 41 specify the maximum sustainable yield and minimum stock size threshold; revise the annual catch limits, optimum yield, recreational catch target, minimum size limit, recreational bag limit, and the commercial trip limit; and designate the spawning season which commercial and recreational management measures for mutton snapper should apply in the South Atlantic Region.
