Frequently Asked Questions about Online Permitting

Are exceptions being made for fishermen or owners that do not have a computer, phone, or tablet?

No. However, we are providing remote or in-person assistance and training to any fisherman that needs help. Also, a relative or friend who has an email address and a computer may act as an authorized representative of the vessel and owner. In these situations, a friend or relative can create a Fish Online account and link a fisherman’s vessel to their account. That friend or relative can then submit an application on behalf of an owner. For more information, please call us at (978) 281-9188to inquire about this option.

Is there a limit of Fish Online accounts that one vessel can be linked to?

No, you may have multiple accounts that link to a vessel.

How many vessels can one user have linked or accredited to their Fish Online account?

There is no limit.
