This Regulatory Impact Review (RIR) examines the benefits and costs of proposed alternatives regarding processing and sale of squids and sculpins as part of the Ecosystem Component category in the Fishery Management Plan for Groundfish of the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Management Area and the Fishery Management Plan for Groundfish of the Gulf of Alaska. This RIR considers a regulatory amendment only with no FMP amendments necessary. This RIR also assesses the potential impact of the alternatives on fishing communities and addresses other social impacts.
