This study was funded by a grant from the Office of Coastal Zone Management, U.S. Department of Commerce.
Aquaculture has the potential of supplying a substantial portion of Guam's consumption of fishery products. In addition to the on-island market, aquaculture is an industry that can produce an export product. The main areas of concern are:
- species for culture
- biological technology
- engineering technology
- site location
- feed
- labor power
- marketing
- legal, institutional, and financial considerations
