These mini-grants support co-development of aquaculture education programs that are responsive to the goals of the Community of Practice for Aquaculture Literacy (CoPAL).

The Mini Grant Program supports projects that will increase the sustainability, communication, education, and training on fishing and marine resource issues and education for marine-related professions in the Pacific Islands region.

Funding to support recreational and non-commercial fishing projects in the Pacific Island region (Hawaiʻi, Guam, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, and American Samoa) that improve sustainable fishing opportunities, maintain stability of fish stocks, and protect cultural fishing traditions.

NOAA Fisheries, in coordination with the New England Fishery Management Council, is soliciting Atlantic sea scallop research proposals.

Accepting applications for the FY2020 Pacific Islands Region Marine Turtle Management and Conservation Program (MTMCP) to fund conservation, protection, or management actions supporting recovery of Endangered Species Act listed sea turtle species occurring within the Pacific Islands region or of aggregations (or species).

ASMFC and NOAA Fisheries' Office of Aquaculture will be issuing approximately $625,000 in grants to fund marine aquaculture pilot projects focusing on sustainable aquatic farming techniques and regional business practices to grow U.S. domestic seafood.
