Panel Review of Science Programs in the Pacific Islands

The Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center conducts an annual peer review process to carefully examine its science programs. In 2007, we invited a panel of independent experts to review and evaluate our science programs, consult principal partners, and provide constructive feedback to Center leadership. The panel learned about the objectives, methods, and accomplishments of each research division and the key issues in meeting needs of our clients in the Pacific Islands Region.

Comments from the review panel provided a better sense of our strengths and identified new directions we can explore to provide better, more comprehensive science products and services throughout the region.
