Thomas Oliver, PhD, is a research ecologist with NOAA’s Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center, based in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a coral reef ecologist, Dr. Oliver focuses on understanding the forces that drive ecological and physiological resilience of reef corals and coral reef ecosystems across the Pacific Ocean.
