Marcus Nedelmann

Background

Marcus is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. After working in the field of psychology for 6 years (2 years in direct care, and 4 years in research), he began a career in IT. In 1997, he entered the field as a Lotus mail administrator and in 2000 started working at the NWFSC as a systems administrator. In his spare time, Marcus is an amateur bike racer.

Current Responsibilities

Marcus' responsibilities as a systems administrator with a focus on the following areas: Linux and other Unix-like operating systems, systems and network security, and data storage and backup.
