Kevin Schulke

Kevin Schulke is the Acting Chief of Staff at the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) located in Woods Hole, Massachusetts.  Prior to joining NEFSC, his tenure with Fisheries includes multiple roles in the Fisheries Associate Chief Information Office (ACIO).  The latest role consisted of developing and managing ACIO’s first Project Management Office. His federal career spans several federal departments including Department of Homeland Security and United States Department of Agriculture. He has held a variety of information technology positions; technical and managerial. Kevin has a Psychology degree from Virginia Polytechnic and State University (VA Tech) and holds several information technology certifications.

Fosters Project Management Best Practices: NMFS OCIO is establishing a Project Management Office (PMO) to provide consistent and predictable project management across all of the enterprise by evaluating emerging trends within the federal IT arena. The PMO will serve HQ OCIO projects and will also be available for all Fisheries organizations. This group will provide management advisory services to share insights from external partners and across NOAA organizational boundaries to increase collaboration, improve organizational efficacy.
