Jennie Bolton
Background
Jennie Bolton graduated from the University of Washington in 1986 with B.S. degrees in Chemistry and Mathematics. Her duties at the NWFSC began in the lab in 1986, where she performed extractions, and later expanded into analytical instrumentation including HPLC, GC, GC-MS, and method development. After successful involvement in automating data processing at all stages of the analytical process, she took over as the data manager for the detailed analysis lab in 1996.
Current Research
Jennie currently manages data for several teams in the Environmental Chemistry Program. Her responsibilities include database development, project and data management, quality assurance, data reporting and archiving. She also assists with writing and editorial projects. She has assisted with the preparation of the technical and public reports for the second AMAP Assessment on Persistent Organic Pollutants.
