Erin Steiner
Background
Erin Steiner received a B.A. in zoology from Connecticut College in 2003. Before returning to school, she worked as a North Pacific Groundfish Observer and spent two years in Bolivia as a Peace Corps Volunteer. She received an M.S. in fisheries from the University of Alaska in 2009. Erin joined the Northwest Fisheries Science Center in 2011 after spending two years working at the NOAA Fisheries Office of Science and Technology as a Knauss Sea Grant Fellow and as a full time employee in Washington, DC.
Current Research
Erin's research involves economic analyses of fisheries management. She is currently involved in the Economic Data Collection Program (EDC) for the West Coast Groundfish Catch Share Program.
