The Joint Management Committee created under the Pacific Whiting Treaty between the Governments of the United States and Canada will meet on March 4-5 in Vancouver, BC. Preliminary agenda items for the JMC meeting include a review of the 2019 stock assessment and 2018 fishing year, recommendations by the Advisory Panel regarding Total Allowable Catch, establishing the 2019 Total Allowable Catch of Pacific Hake/ Whiting for the United States and Canada, and public comment.
