NOAA Fisheries has taken inseason action in the recreational salmon fisheries south of Cape Falcon.
- Inseason Action #28: Effective immediately, Wednesday, September 13, 2023, for the recreational salmon fishery from Cape Falcon to Humbug Mountain, 15,500 coho salmon are transferred on an impact neutral basis to the September non-mark selective coho salmon fishery. The adjusted September coho salmon quota is 40,500.
- Inseason Action #29: Effective Sunday, September 17, 2023, at 11:59 p.m., for the recreational salmon fishery from Cape Falcon to Humbug Mountain, the recreational non-mark selective coho salmon season is closed. The season remains open for a daily bag limit of one Chinook salmon.
