The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is reallocating the projected unused amount (4,000 metric tons) of Bering Sea subarea pollock from the incidental catch account to the directed fisheries according to James W. Balsiger, Administrator, Alaska Region, NMFS.

The offshore component, catcher/processor apportionment includes a one half percent limit for catcher processors not listed under the American Fisheries Act. That limit is increased by 8 mt from 2,604 mt to 2,612 mt by this action.
