NOAA Fisheries has announced new groundfish harvest specifications and management measures for 2019–2020 that will increase sustainable recreational and commercial fishing opportunities up and down the West Coast. These management measures include trip limits, season dates, bag limits, and depth limits to ensure the sustainable commercial and recreational harvest of these species. This rule is effective January 1, 2019.
