Effective September 24, 2019
We are announcing corrections to the regulations for the Pacific Coast Groundfish Fishery.
We are making these minor corrections to accurately implement the Pacific Fishery Management Council action for the 2019–2020 groundfish harvest specifications and management measures.
These corrections do not require any change to your fishing practices.
We corrected:
- the definition of groundfish for nearshore rockfish south of 40°10’ N. latitude;
- the depth restrictions in the Cowcod Conservation Area;
- language describing the use of small footrope gear inside the Columbia and Klamath River Salmon Conservation Zones; and
- the 2019 yellowtail rockfish allocations north of 40°10′ N latitude.
Please see the Federal Register notice for a complete description of the corrections.
