Summary

NOAA Fisheries adjusts the 2018 Winter II commercial scup quota and per-trip federal landing limit. This action is intended to comply with Framework Adjustment 3 to the Summer Flounder, Scup, and Black Sea Bass Fishery Management Plan that established the rollover of unused commercial scup quota from the Winter I to Winter II period. This document is intended to inform the public of this quota and trip limit change.

Scup Winter II Period Quota and Possession Limit Increase Bulletin

The commercial scup quota and the possession limit per trip for the 2018 Winter II Period (October 1-December 31) have been increased due to the rollover of unused quota from the Winter I period.
