Incidental Take Permit to Eddystone Generating Station

Eddystone Generating Station in Eddystone, Pennsylvania is a natural gas/fuel oil-fired electric generating facility. The requested permit would be for the incidental take of ESA-listed shortnose sturgeon (Acipenser brevirostrum) and Atlantic sturgeon (Acipenser oxyrinchus oxyrinchus). The takes would be attributed to otherwise lawful activities associated with the continued operation and maintenance of the facility including entrainment and impingement sampling required by the Clean Water Act. The facility is requesting the permit be issued for a duration of 10 years.
