Amendment 75 to the FMP for the Groundfish of the Gulf of Alaska Management Area

NOAA Fisheries announces the approval of Amendment 75 to the Fishery Management Plan (FMP) for Groundfish of the Gulf of Alaska. The amendment makes housekeeping revisions to the FMP. The revisions update harvest, ecosystem, and socioeconomic information, consolidate text, and reorganize the documents. The intent of this action is to update information in the FMP and to make it easier to read. This action promotes the goals and objectives of the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act (Magnuson-Stevens Act), the FMP, and other applicable laws.
