Summary

The Northern Gulf of Maine Management Area is closed to all Limited Access General Category (LAGC) scallop vessels effective 0001 hours on May 23, 2020, and will remain closed for the remainder of the 2020 fishing year.

Regulations require this action once it is projected that 100 percent of of the LAGC total allowable catch for the Northern Gulf of Maine Scallop Management Area will be harvested.

Effective 0001 hr local time May 23, 2020 through March 31, 2021.
