Compliance guide revised with updated forms (10/2021) for transshipping, bunkering, and catch retention/discard requirements under the authority of the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Convention Implementation Act.
This guide provides information on how to comply with specific requirements for transshipping, bunkering, and purse seine discards in the western and central Pacific Ocean. These requirements implement decisions of the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission (WCPFC) for U.S. fishing vessels used to fish commercially for highly migratory species (HMS). This guide has been revised to include updated expiration dates on the forms included in the appendices.
