Jessie Murray

Jessie Murray joined the Habitat and Ecosystem Services Division in early 2020 as a Marine Habitat Resource Specialist. She is responsible for EFH consultations in NY and northern NJ as well as fishing effect consultations in the Mid-Atlantic. Prior to joining HESD, Jessie worked for over 9 years as an ecologist in the environmental consulting industry specializing in environmental regulatory compliance, coastal habitat analyses, and wetland mitigation and habitat restoration design, application, and management. Jessie is a Certified Ecologist through the Ecological Society of America, has a Master of Environmental Management in Coastal Environmental Management from Duke University and a Bachelor of Science in Ecology and Natural Resources Management from Rutgers University.
