Enhanced warming of the United States northeast continental shelf leads to the development of targeted research methods. This research will help fisheries and protected species management make climate-informed decisions.
Funding has been approved for the NOAA-sponsored South Delacroix Marsh Creation Project through the Coastal Wetlands Planning, Protection, and Restoration Act Program. The project will restore more than 400 acres of marsh in Plaquemines Parish.
