Pacific Hake/Whiting Treaty: Joint Management Committee Meeting, Thursday, February 3, 2022

The Joint Technical Committee (JTC), briefed the Joint Management Committee (JMC) on the draft whiting stock assessment.The JMC is primarily responsible for providing annual Total Allowable Catch (TAC) recommendations under the Pacific Hake/Whiting Treaty between the Governments of the United States and Canada. The JMC meeting was open to the public and members of the Pacific hake/whiting treaty advisory bodies and interested parties were encouraged to attend.
