Northeast Multispecies Common Pool Vessels: Possession and Trip Limit Increases for the Remainder of Fishing Year 2021 for the Common Pool Fishery

Effective February 24, 2022, NOAA Fisheries increases common pool possession and trip limits for Gulf of Maine Cod, Cape Cod/Gulf of Maine yellowtail flounder, and witch flounder.

These increases are in effect from February 24, 2022 through the end of the 2021 fishing year on April 30, 2022. This action is intended to provide the additional fishing opportunity and facilitate harvest of common pool quotas.

Note: The combined 300 lb trip limit of cod, yellowtail flounder, and haddock for Small Vessel Category-permitted vessels remains in place.
