Oregon Resident Trout and Coho Fishery Plan for the Grande Ronde, Imnaha, and Snake Rivers

NOAA Fisheries is providing one Fishery Management and Evaluation Plan (FMEP) for recreational coho salmon and resident trout fisheries in the Snake River Basin for public comment. The FMEP was submitted by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW) to NOAA to evaluate the effects of these ODFW fisheries to ESA-listed species under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) section 4(d) Rule, limit 4, for salmon and steelhead. ODFW collaborates with the other fishery managers in the Snake River Basin on coho salmon fisheries to ensure broodstock needs for the coho salmon hatchery programs are met prior to opening a coho salmon fishery.
